The Jolly Jump-Ups and Their New House, the first installment in the series, shows the family moving into their new house. Clyne smartly offered a children's book evoking favorite play activities--playing house and playing with dollhouses--and started a series that became a core part of American childhood. All pop-ups lovely and fully functional, single tiny tear to edge of pop-up not touching actual scene, binding unusually nice with only a couple tiny spots to rear board. A near-fine copy, most desirable in this condition.
