First edition of this classic 1940s pop-up book focusing on play and recreation, with five lovely and intact pop-ups. This pop-up book depicts play in the 1940s, from trips to the candy shop to visiting the circus. The five pop-ups are "Fun and Frolics," "Let's Go to the Zoo," "Helping on the Farm," "Circus Comes to Town," and "Camping in the Woods." Interior fine with all pop-ups fully intact, pictorial boards bright with only faintest foxing along one edges and most minor rubbing. A beautiful copy in near-fine condition.
