Early edition (first?) of this beautifully illustrated book of children's prayers. Publications of prayers for children stretch back into the earliest history of children's books. This version, mass-produced in the 1950s, features beautiful, placid children reciting well-known prayers. If you're thinking this doesn't quite look like Opal Rare Books stock, you are entirely correct. However, books have a way of appearing and who are we to judge them for it? Let them find their proper homes. Interior fine, a bit of wear and faint staining to boards. A very good copy.
