First edition of this beloved fairy tale, featuring six transformational slat moveables. The Magic Fairy Tales series offers a new twist on the moveable book. Each illustrated page is covered by an inserted slat panel that can be moved via pull-tab to reveal two different (decidedly 1940s-style) illustrations depending on its position. This rather traditional version of Little Red Riding Hood features the woodsman who kills the wolf while the grandmother is hidden in a locked closet. Minor offsetting rub marks to interior, slight (flat) creasing to a few slats, light wear to original boards. An extremely good copy.
