First edition of this uncommon post-war Hansel and Gretel pop-up book by illustrator Jack Harig, with five pop-ups in wonderful condition. This unusual pop-up interpretation of Hansel and Gretel features five charming pop-up illustrations rife with Bavarian motifs. The book reflects the transition in illustration style between the 1940s and 1950s. Crease to (fully functional) first pop-up and only light wear to extremities. Near-fine condition.
