First edition of this 1940s fairy tale-themed moveable, with pictorial cut-outs layered under a cellophane window to create a diorama. The stories include Rapunzel, Tom Thumb, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, the Ugly Duckling, Ali Baba, King Arthur, Alice in Wonderland, Gulliver's Travels, The Pied Piper, and several familiar titles, each with additional non-diorama color illustrations. Only minor rubbing and mild toning to title page; a bit of rubbing, faint foxing, and a few tiny spots of soiling to pictorial paper boards, comb binding still fully intact. A lovely copy in extremely good condition.
